Postpartum Support Virginia

Postpartum Support Virginia (PSVa) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting mothers and families experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs). Founded in 2009, the organization provides a statewide network of free support groups, a peer-led warmline, and a directory of specialized mental health providers. PSVa also conducts extensive outreach and training for healthcare professionals to improve screening and treatment protocols for postpartum depression and anxiety. Their mission is to ensure that every childbearing person in Virginia has access to the information and resources necessary for mental wellness. The organization operates as the Virginia state chapter of Postpartum Support International.
