Poultry CRC

The Poultry CRC was a prominent Australian research consortium established under the Australian Government's Cooperative Research Centres program to enhance the sustainability and productivity of the poultry industry. The organization focused on three primary research pillars: health and welfare, nutrition and environment, and food safety. During its tenure, the Poultry CRC successfully developed and commercialized several key veterinary innovations, including vaccines for necrotic enteritis and fowl cholera, as well as advanced diagnostic tools for avian pathogens. Following the conclusion of its second funding term in 2017, the center's activities and research coordination were transitioned to Poultry Hub Australia.
