Company intelligence / Profile preview
PracticeOne was a healthcare information technology company that specialized in providing integrated electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management software solutions. The company's products were designed to streamline clinical and administrative workflows for physician practices, including features for revenue cycle management and patient data tracking. PracticeOne was formed through the consolidation of several healthcare IT assets under PracticeXpert Services Corp before rebranding in 2005. In January 2006, the company was acquired by Infocrossing, Inc. for approximately $18.2 million to bolster its healthcare services and outsourcing capabilities. Following the acquisition, PracticeOne's technology was integrated into Infocrossing's broader suite of IT infrastructure and business process outsourcing services. The entity eventually became part of Wipro Limited after Wipro's acquisition of Infocrossing in 2007.
