Overview
Prairie Plant Systems pioneered the use of underground and biosecure facilities to produce pharmaceutical-grade plants. It was the sole supplier of medical cannabis to Health Canada from about 2000–2013. Its work laid the foundation for CanniMed Therapeutics’ commercial and clinical programs before acquisition by Aurora Cannabis.
