Prayog Labs

Prayog Labs is a technology development and biotechnology company spun out of Thar Technologies. The company leverages supercritical fluid technology to develop novel drug delivery systems and formulations, notably creating a fast-acting, non-opioid formulation of meloxicam for acute and chronic pain management. In 2018, Prayog Labs licensed the global development and marketing rights for this fast-acting meloxicam formulation to Mylan (now Viatris), which submitted an NDA to the US FDA in 2026. Beyond its pharmaceutical formulation work, Prayog Labs also applies its supercritical fluid expertise to environmental engineering projects, such as the supercritical treatment of fracking wastewater.
