Prayon

Prayon is a Belgian-headquartered global leader in phosphorus chemistry specializing in the manufacture of high-quality phosphate and fluorine solutions used across food & beverage industries as well as technical applications including pharmaceuticals. The company produces ultrapure phosphoric acid grades under brands such as Interbex Pharma and Superbex Pharma—primarily used as cleaning agents or functional excipients within pharmaceutical manufacturing—and also offers specialized hypophosphorous acid products. With over a century of expertise and approximately 1,500 employees worldwide across sites in Belgium, France, Switzerland and the US plus R&D/testing facilities elsewhere,[1][2][3][4] Prayon serves customers globally through its extensive product portfolio but does not itself develop therapeutics or maintain a drug development pipeline. Its main shareholders are OCP Group—the world’s largest producer of phosphoric acid—and Wallonie Entreprendre.[2]
