Precision Extrusion

Precision Extrusion was a U.S. medical device manufacturing company focused on custom extruded, medical-grade thermoplastic tubing and catheter components for OEM customers. The company specialized in close-tolerance single-lumen and multilumen tubing, co-extrusions, braided and wire-reinforced constructions, angioplasty balloons, and related catheter products used in interventional and diagnostic applications. It operated under ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 quality certifications and served the medical device industry rather than developing therapeutics. Precision Extrusion was acquired by Pexco in December 2015 and appears to have been integrated into Pexco’s broader medical extrusion and plastics manufacturing operations.
