Precision Manufacturing Group

Precision Manufacturing Group was a private U.S. contract manufacturer focused on precision-machined medical device components, including surgical tools, orthopedic implants, accessories, and stainless-steel shafts used in products such as disposable Kerrison rongeurs. The company operated an FDA-registered manufacturing facility in Wooster, Ohio and offered CNC machining, milling, and finishing services. Its customer base appears to have spanned both medical device and aerospace markets, but its healthcare relevance came from outsourced manufacturing for surgical and orthopedic products rather than drug development. In December 2021, Precision Manufacturing Group was merged into/acquired by Steribite, so it is best understood today as a former standalone medical device manufacturing company rather than an active independent biotech or pharma business.
