Precision Neuroscience has developed the Layer 7 Cortical Interface—a minimally invasive brain–computer interface that sits on the cortical surface without penetrating brain tissue. The device has been tested in at least 27 patients through research partnerships with major medical centers. It has received FDA Breakthrough Device designation and aims for first commercial launch in 2025.
