Precision Pathology Services is a San Antonio, Texas-based clinical pathology laboratory specializing in accurate and rapid anatomic and clinical pathology diagnoses, serving a broad range of healthcare providers. The lab is known for its quality control processes, in which every specimen is reviewed by at least two board-certified pathologists, with a third expert consulted in cases of diagnostic disagreement. Since September 2023, its laboratory assets have been acquired by bioAffinity Technologies to support the commercialization of CyPath® Lung, a noninvasive, flow cytometry-based test for early-stage lung cancer that has demonstrated 92% sensitivity and 87% specificity in high-risk patients with small lung nodules. The laboratory also offers a wide array of other diagnostic services, including respiratory, STI/STD, women’s and men’s health, and general surgical pathology.
