Overview
Premia Spine develops innovative spinal implants for minimally invasive procedures. Its flagship product, the TOPS™ System—a lumbar facet joint replacement—has demonstrated clinical superiority over lumbar fusion for treating degenerative spondylolisthesis and spinal stenosis. In a pivotal FDA trial with over two years of follow-up, the TOPS device showed a significantly higher overall clinical success rate compared to fusion (77% vs. 24%). The system preserves mobility post-decompression and offers an alternative to traditional fusion surgery. The company has also developed ProMIS™ and Nexux™ systems.
