PressureStim was a medical device company that developed a non-invasive, wearable solution for the treatment of hypertension. The company's technology utilized targeted mechanical stimulation of the carotid baroreceptors in the neck to activate the body's natural blood pressure regulation system, known as the baroreflex. Designed as a user-friendly wearable device, it aimed to provide a non-pharmacological and non-surgical alternative for patients with resistant or uncontrolled high blood pressure. Incubated by The Trendlines Group in Israel, the company conducted early-stage clinical pilot studies to validate its proprietary stimulation patterns and device ergonomics before becoming inactive.
