PRIMUS Sterilizer Company is a U.S. manufacturer of stainless steel steam sterilizers and autoclaves serving healthcare and life science customers. The company was formed in Omaha, Nebraska in 1990 and built its business around American-made sterilization systems for hospitals, surgery centers, laboratories, vivariums, biocontainment settings, and biopharma facilities. PRIMUS products are commercialized equipment rather than therapeutic drug programs, with offerings spanning healthcare steam sterilizers, laboratory sterilizers, and specialized life science sterilization systems. PRIMUS became part of Chalmers Group in November 2018 and now operates as a PRIMUS brand within Spire Integrated Solutions.
