Prince Edward Island Bioscience Cluster

The Prince Edward Island Bioscience Cluster is a strategic industry association led by the PEI BioAlliance, representing a growing community of over 60 bioscience companies and research organizations. Based in Charlottetown, Canada, the cluster focuses on the development and commercialization of products for human, animal, and fish health, as well as natural products and specialized manufacturing. It provides business incubation through the Emergence program and facilitates access to specialized infrastructure and a highly skilled workforce. The cluster is recognized for its collaborative ecosystem, connecting private sector firms with academic researchers and government partners to accelerate the growth of the local biotech economy. It also hosts the Canadian Alliance for Skills and Training in Life Sciences (CASTL), a national leader in biopharmaceutical manufacturing training.
