Prince William Health System

Prince William Health System was a regional non-profit healthcare provider based in Manassas, Virginia, serving the Northern Virginia community for over four decades. The system's primary asset was Prince William Hospital, a 170-bed acute care facility offering comprehensive services including emergency medicine, surgical care, and diagnostic imaging. In 2009, the system merged with North Carolina-based Novant Health to enhance its clinical capabilities and financial stability. This partnership eventually transitioned into a joint venture with UVA Health, which later acquired full ownership of the Northern Virginia facilities in 2021. Today, the former system's assets operate as part of the UVA Health network.
