Princeton Pharmaceutical Products

Princeton Pharmaceutical Products was a specialized pharmaceutical marketing division of E.R. Squibb & Sons, which later became a core component of Bristol Myers Squibb following the landmark 1989 merger. The company was primarily dedicated to the commercialization and distribution of cardiovascular medications, most notably the beta-blocker Corgard (nadolol) and the ACE inhibitor Capoten (captopril). Operating during the 1980s, it served as a strategic vehicle to expand Squibb's sales reach within the hypertension and heart failure therapeutic areas. Although it no longer operates as an independent entity, its legacy is integrated into the global cardiovascular franchise of Bristol Myers Squibb. The division was headquartered in New Jersey and focused exclusively on small molecule therapeutics.
