Overview
PRInnovation GmbH, a subsidiary of SPRIND, is sponsoring and managing clinical development for PRI-002, an orally available all-D peptide therapeutic targeting neurotoxic protein aggregates in Alzheimer’s disease. The company has completed Phase I trials demonstrating safety and tolerability. As of February 2025, recruitment for the multicenter Phase II study (PRImus-AD) was successfully completed with 304 patients enrolled across six European countries. Results are expected in late 2026; if positive, a pivotal Phase III trial will be planned with a pharmaceutical partner
