The Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN) is a government-mandated, independent, not-for-profit organization that publishes performance and fee information for private healthcare in the United Kingdom. Established following a Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) investigation, PHIN collects data from over 600 hospitals and 15,000 consultants to improve transparency and help patients make informed choices. The organization provides a public-facing website where users can compare private specialists and facilities based on quality indicators and costs.
