Privi Medical

Privi Medical is a Singapore medical device company focused on non-drug treatment of hemorrhoidal symptoms, particularly early-stage internal hemorrhoids. The company was spun out of the Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign and the Singapore-Stanford Biodesign programs and developed Instalief, a disposable, drug-free device that uses instant cold compression technology. Privi announced U.S. FDA clearance for Instalief in January 2018 for adult use, positioning the product as a home-use alternative to topical drug-based hemorrhoid treatments.
