Pro Concepta

Pro Concepta Zug AG (formerly Pro Diagnostica Trading AG) was a Swiss pharmaceutical company based in Zug, Switzerland, that specialized in the wholesale, import, export, and representation of pharmaceutical, biological, and chemical-technical products. The company held marketing authorizations and distributed several well-known prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) drugs in Switzerland, including the immunosuppressants Imurek (azathioprine) and Puri-Nethol (mercaptopurine), the chemotherapy drug Alkeran (melphalan), and the pain medication Fentanyl. Pro Concepta Zug AG was also the parent company of Pro Farma AG (formerly Pro Farma GmbH), which was acquired by the Italian pharmaceutical group Recordati in July 2016. Pro Concepta Zug AG was officially deleted from the Swiss commercial registry in May 2025.
