Pro Player Health Alliance

Pro Player Health Alliance (PPHA) is a healthcare organization dedicated to raising awareness about obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and its associated health risks, such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Founded by David Gergen, the organization collaborates with retired professional athletes, particularly from the NFL, to promote health screenings and the use of oral appliance therapy (OAT) as an alternative to CPAP machines. PPHA hosts public awareness events and "Tackle Sleep Apnea" campaigns to connect patients with dental professionals specializing in sleep medicine. Their primary focus is on improving the quality of life for former athletes and the general public through early diagnosis and effective treatment of sleep-disordered breathing.
