Probelte Biotechnologies

Probelte Biotechnologies, also referred to as ProbelteBio, is a Spain-based developer and manufacturer of nutraceutical ingredients and botanical extracts derived primarily from Mediterranean raw materials such as olive and pomegranate. The company built a reputation around scientifically supported natural ingredients for dietary supplements, including Pomanox and Mediteanox, and operated manufacturing and laboratory facilities in Murcia. In 2017, Euromed acquired Probelte Biotechnologies as an add-on acquisition to expand its fruit- and vegetable-based nutraceutical ingredient portfolio. The acquired Murcia facility has since been described by Euromed as a state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly extraction site for Mediterranean fruit and vegetable extracts. The business is healthcare-related through nutraceuticals and natural health ingredients rather than prescription therapeutics.
