Overview
ProDa BioTech’s lead candidate, ProAgio, is a recombinant protein that targets integrin αvβ₃ on cancer-associated fibroblasts and angiogenic endothelial cells. It has shown preclinical efficacy in animal models of pancreatic and triple-negative breast cancers by disrupting the tumor stroma barrier, improving drug delivery, and reducing side effects. Clinical development is ongoing with Phase II trials in TNBC and early-stage trials/plans for other solid tumors including pancreatic, liver, lung, prostate, and colorectal cancers. The company has received NIH/NCI funding to advance its programs into clinical studies[1][5][6][7].
