Project Build Behavioral Health is a healthcare investment and management company formed as a joint venture between affiliates of BlueMountain Capital Management and Ben Klein. The company was established in 2018 to acquire the assets of Elements Behavioral Health out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy, subsequently restructuring and rebranding the operations as Promises Behavioral Health. It operates a national network of treatment centers providing evidence-based care for substance use disorders, mental health conditions, eating disorders, and trauma. Project Build Behavioral Health focuses on providing capital and strategic oversight to its portfolio of behavioral health programs to ensure clinical quality and operational growth.
