Promethera Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company specializing in the development of liver-targeted cell therapies. The company's primary focus is on treating severe liver diseases such as acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF) and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) using its proprietary HepaStem technology. HepaStem consists of allogeneic human adult liver-derived progenitor cells (HHALPC) that provide immunomodulatory and anti-fibrotic effects to promote liver regeneration.
