Company intelligence / Profile preview
Proprius Pharmaceuticals developed personalized medicine solutions focused on rheumatology and autoimmune diseases. Its lead asset, Indaflex™ (topical indomethacin cream), reached Phase II trials for osteoarthritis of the knee. Another candidate, PRO‑515, targeted rheumatoid arthritis but was discontinued. The company combined proprietary therapeutics with diagnostic services to differentiate its approach. In February 2008 it was acquired by Cypress Bioscience and ceased independent operations thereafter.
