ProtEmbo Cerebral Protection System
Phase 3- Indications
- Brain protection during TAVR procedures
Company intelligence / Profile preview
Protembis has developed the ProtEmbo Cerebral Protection System, an intra-aortic filter device designed to protect the entire brain from embolic material released during TAVR. Clinical studies have shown that up to 94% of patients treated with ProtEmbo are free from clinically meaningful new brain lesions (>350mm³). The ongoing pivotal PROTEMBO IDE trial aims to demonstrate superiority over current standards and no-protection controls. No ProtEmbo-related adverse events have been reported in trials so far.
