Rutherford Health, formerly known as Proton Partners International, was a UK-based healthcare provider specializing in advanced oncology services. The company was a pioneer in bringing high-energy proton beam therapy to the UK private sector through its network of Rutherford Cancer Centres. In addition to proton therapy, the centers provided conventional radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and advanced diagnostic services. Despite its innovative approach and significant infrastructure investment, the company faced financial difficulties exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Consequently, Rutherford Health ceased operations and entered solvent liquidation in June 2022.
