Company intelligence / Profile preview
Provision CARES Proton Therapy was a network of advanced cancer treatment centers specializing in proton beam therapy, a highly precise form of radiation treatment. The company operated flagship facilities in Knoxville and Nashville, Tennessee, utilizing the ProNova SC360 proton therapy system to treat various solid tumors while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissue. Following financial challenges and a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing by its parent company, Provision Healthcare, the individual centers were transitioned to new ownership. The Nashville (Franklin) location was acquired by Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2023, and the Knoxville location was acquired by Covenant Health in 2022. These centers continue to provide specialized oncological care as integrated parts of their respective regional health systems.
