Proxi Biotech

Proxi Biotech is a Danish biotechnology company dedicated to developing next-generation vaccines against multi-drug resistant bacterial pathogens. The company utilizes its proprietary ProxiVax™ platform, a "plug-and-display" technology that allows for the rapid and efficient presentation of antigens on the surface of non-pathogenic bacterial scaffolds. This modular approach is designed to induce a potent immune response while maintaining a high safety profile and low manufacturing costs. Currently in the pre-clinical stage, Proxi Biotech is advancing a pipeline of vaccine candidates targeting high-priority pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus and Group A Streptococcus. The company is a spin-out from the University of Southern Denmark and has received significant support and funding from the BioInnovation Institute.
