Proxima

Proxima (formerly VantAI) is an AI-native biotechnology company pioneering proximity-based therapeutics, including molecular glues and protein degraders (PROTACs). The company rebranded from VantAI in January 2026 upon closing an $80 million seed funding round led by DCVC and NVentures. Proxima utilizes its NeoLink structural proteomics platform and Neo AI models (such as Neo-1) to rationally design small molecules that modulate protein-protein interactions. It has established multi-billion dollar collaborations with Bristol Myers Squibb, Johnson & Johnson, and Sanofi (via Blueprint Medicines). Several programs are currently advancing toward clinical trials, with the first expected to enter the clinic in 2026.
