PSK Biosciences (also known as Nanjing Ke'enlisi Biomedical) is a platform-based biotechnology company at the forefront of exosome drug development. Spun out from Simcere Pharmaceutical's State Key Laboratory of Translational Medicine and Innovative Drugs, the company focuses on developing engineered exosome therapeutics designed for systemic, repeatable delivery of RNA medicines to hard-to-reach tissues, starting with the central nervous system (CNS). PSK Biosciences operates two complementary platforms: the SGRL-Exo™ engineered exosome platform for brain-penetrant nucleic acid delivery, and a natural exosome therapeutics platform utilizing function-defined mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)-derived exosome subpopulations (S1 and S2). Its preclinical pipeline spans CNS, pulmonary, and inflammatory diseases, including programs for Alzheimer's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), lung cancer, and acute lung injury.
