Puerto Rico Science and Technology

The Puerto Rico Science, Technology & Research Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to maximizing Puerto Rico’s participation in the global knowledge economy. It manages a variety of programs focused on research and development, technology transfer, and commercialization within the life sciences, biotechnology, and aerospace sectors. Key initiatives include the Puerto Rico Consortium for Clinical Investigation (PRCCI), which enhances clinical research capabilities, and the Puerto Rico Vector Control Unit (PRVCU). The Trust acts as a catalyst for innovation, providing grants, infrastructure, and strategic partnerships to position Puerto Rico as a global hub for scientific excellence. It also oversees the Science City project, a multi-use facility designed to house research and development laboratories.
