PulseFlow Technologies was a medical device company dedicated to improving outcomes for patients suffering from chronic wounds, specifically diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs). The company developed the PulseFlow DF, a unique wearable device that integrates offloading and intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) into a single boot-like system. This technology was designed to enhance blood flow to the wound site while simultaneously reducing pressure, addressing the primary physiological barriers to healing in diabetic patients. By providing a portable and easy-to-use solution, PulseFlow aimed to increase patient compliance and reduce the risk of lower-limb amputations. In July 2019, the company's assets were acquired by Misonix, which was later acquired by Bioventus in 2021.
