PuraCath Medical

PuraCath Medical is a private medical device company developing ultraviolet-enabled catheter connection disinfection systems designed to reduce infection risk for patients with indwelling catheters. The company’s Firefly product family includes a peritoneal dialysis connection disinfection system and a vascular access needleless connector/disinfection approach aimed at reducing contamination associated with catheter access. PuraCath positions its technology as a simpler, faster alternative to conventional aseptic preparation workflows, with the goal of reducing dependence on user compliance.
