Purdue Foundry

Purdue Foundry is an entrepreneurship and commercialization hub managed by the Purdue Research Foundation to support the creation of startups based on Purdue University intellectual property. The organization provides a suite of services including business model development, mentorship through its Entrepreneurs-in-Residence program, and assistance in securing seed-stage funding. While industry-agnostic, Purdue Foundry has a robust track record in the life sciences, facilitating the launch of numerous biotech, diagnostic, and medical device companies. In 2023, it was integrated into the Purdue Innovates initiative to provide a more cohesive ecosystem for university-led innovation and technology transfer. It serves as a critical bridge between academic research and commercial viability for faculty and student entrepreneurs.
