QuadraSpec

QuadraSpec was a biotechnology company that developed high-throughput, label-free biosensing technology for protein detection and diagnostic testing. Spun out of Purdue University, the company's core platform, the BioCD, utilized interferometry on spinning discs to detect molecular interactions without the need for fluorescent labels. This technology was designed to provide rapid, multiplexed analysis of biomarkers for applications in clinical diagnostics and drug discovery. The company's assets were acquired by Inanovate in 2010 to integrate the BioCD technology into Inanovate's protein analysis systems. During its operation, QuadraSpec focused on developing diagnostic panels for conditions such as sepsis and rheumatoid arthritis.
