Quality Specialty Products (QSP) was a prominent distributor of medical and surgical supplies to the healthcare industry, primarily serving the Midwestern United States. The company specialized in providing a wide range of clinical products, including surgical instruments, wound care supplies, and patient care equipment to hospitals and healthcare facilities. In 2002, the company was acquired by Owens & Minor, a leading global healthcare solutions company, to strengthen its distribution network and service capabilities. Following the acquisition, QSP's operations were integrated into the Owens & Minor distribution infrastructure. The QSP brand is also frequently associated with high-quality laboratory consumables, such as pipette tips, through a separate entity known as Quality Scientific Plastics, which is now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific.
