Quantel Derma was a German medical technology company specializing in the development of high-quality laser systems for dermatology and aesthetic medicine. The company was well-known for its expertise in Erbium:YAG, CO2, and diode laser technologies, providing solutions for skin resurfacing, scar treatment, and vascular lesion removal. Originally operating as the dermatology arm of the French Quantel Group, it established a significant footprint in the European clinical market. In 2012, Quantel Derma was acquired by Alma Lasers, a move that integrated Quantel's precision German engineering with Alma's global distribution network. Following the acquisition, the company's operations were merged into Alma Lasers' portfolio, enhancing their offerings in the energy-based surgical and aesthetic segments.
