Quantitative Radiology

Quantitative Radiology Solutions (QRS) is a medical technology company that provides advanced body-wide quantification of medical images to personalize cancer treatment decisions. Spun out of the University of Pennsylvania's Medical Image Processing Group, the company's flagship product is the Automatic Anatomy Recognition (AAR) system, an FDA 510(k) cleared software-only medical device. AAR automates the localization and delineation of organs-at-risk (OAR) in CT, MRI, and PET/CT images, reducing the time required for radiation treatment planning from hours to minutes. The technology aims to improve the accuracy and consistency of contouring, thereby minimizing radiation exposure to healthy tissue and improving patient outcomes. QRS is headquartered in Philadelphia and has received support from the National Cancer Institute and the National Science Foundation.
