The Queensland BioCapital Fund (QBF) was a specialized venture capital fund established by the Queensland Government to catalyze the growth of the biotechnology and life sciences sector in Australia. Launched in 2002 as part of the 'Smart State' initiative, the fund focused on providing early-stage and expansion capital to companies developing innovative human therapeutics, medical devices, and agricultural technologies.
