Founded by bioengineering pioneer Wayne Quinton, the company became a standard in clinical environments for assessing cardiovascular health through non-invasive diagnostic tools. Its flagship Q-Stress system is widely recognized as a premier solution for cardiac exercise testing. In 2005, Quinton Cardiology Systems merged with Cardiac Science, Inc. to form Cardiac Science Corporation, consolidating its diagnostic portfolio with Cardiac Science's automated external defibrillator (AED) technology. The Quinton brand legacy continues today through various iterations of ownership within the medical device industry.
