R.J. Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital was a community healthcare facility located in Stuart, Virginia, dedicated to providing medical services to the rural population of Patrick County. Named after the tobacco magnate R.J. Reynolds, who was born in the county, the hospital offered critical services including emergency medicine, inpatient care, and diagnostic services. In 2011, the facility was acquired by Pioneer Health Services and operated as Pioneer Community Hospital of Patrick County. However, following the bankruptcy of its parent company, the hospital officially closed its doors in 2017.
