Company intelligence / Profile preview
RACP Pharmaceutical Holdings was a British Virgin Islands-based holding company that managed pharmaceutical assets in China, including Shenyang Enshi Pharmaceutical and Suzhou Erye Pharmaceutical. The company was acquired in 2006 by China Biopharmaceuticals Holdings (CBH) for approximately $11.1 million to expand CBH's manufacturing and distribution footprint in the Chinese market. RACP is frequently referenced in legal literature due to a significant Hong Kong court case, RACP Pharmaceutical Holdings Ltd v Li Xiaobo, which established precedents for the enforcement of worldwide freezing orders. Following its acquisition, its operations were integrated into CBH, which eventually merged into NeoStem (now Lisata Therapeutics). Its subsidiaries were involved in the production of various pharmaceutical products, including injection drugs and small molecule therapeutics.
