Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego

Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego is a leading nonprofit pediatric medical center, the only such facility in the San Diego area dedicated exclusively to pediatric health care and the region's only Level I pediatric trauma center. It offers comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties, nationally recognized for excellence in all major pediatric areas. The hospital is also a major research center in pediatric medicine, collaborating with UC San Diego School of Medicine and other institutions, and is part of the Children’s Oncology Group for cancer clinical trials. The hospital has recently merged with Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), forming a unified nonprofit system under the name Rady Children’s Health, but continues to operate as Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego at its main campus.
