RAIN Group is a sales training and performance improvement company focused on helping organizations improve selling effectiveness through training, coaching, consulting, and reinforcement. The company serves multiple industries, including life sciences, but it is not itself a biotech, pharma, or healthcare company. Its offerings include sales training programs, leadership development, research-backed sales methodologies, and a subscription-based enablement platform called Total Access. RAIN Group has also built a recognized body of sales research through its Center for Sales Research and is known for books and thought leadership by co-founders Mike Schultz and John Doerr. In November 2024, RAIN Group was acquired by Alchemist, a leadership development and sales training company backed by Horizon Capital.
