Rapid Pathogen Screening

Rapid Pathogen Screening develops and markets novel point-of-care diagnostic tests that deliver results within minutes at the clinician’s office. Their lead product, AdenoPlus, detects adenoviral conjunctivitis and has been commercially available in the US. Other products include InflammaDry for ocular inflammation and a pipeline targeting systemic infections and chemical agent exposure. The company has received government contracts to develop field-portable diagnostic tools for military use. Clinical results indicate high sensitivity/specificity in their marketed products; additional programs are under development or regulatory review.
