Overview

RapidPulse has developed a novel cyclic aspiration system for treating acute ischemic stroke. Across three studies, operators achieved first-pass full reperfusion rates ranging from 60% to 69%, which is a substantial improvement over the typical 40–42% with current-generation devices. In one recent trial, nearly 7 out of 10 patients had near-perfect or perfect reperfusion after one attempt. The device is currently being evaluated in an FDA-approved IDE pivotal study and is not yet cleared for commercial sale.
