RECAMO

RECAMO (Regional Centre for Applied Molecular Oncology) is a specialized research and diagnostic center based within the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute (MMCI) in Brno, Czech Republic. Established in 2010 with significant support from the European Regional Development Fund, the center focuses on translational oncology research to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment. Its core activities include the identification of novel biomarkers, the study of molecular mechanisms of resistance to therapy, and the development of personalized medicine strategies. RECAMO operates state-of-the-art laboratories for genomics, proteomics, and cell biology, serving as a hub for collaboration between academic researchers and clinical oncologists. The center provides advanced molecular diagnostic services that are directly integrated into the clinical care provided at the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute.
