Recovery Care, formerly known as Recovery Ottawa, is a specialized healthcare provider focused on addiction medicine and mental health services in the Ottawa and Cornwall regions of Ontario. The organization provides evidence-based medical treatments for opioid use disorder, including Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) with medications such as methadone, Suboxone, and Sublocade. Beyond addiction medicine, Recovery Care offers comprehensive wraparound services including Hepatitis C and HIV screening and treatment, mental health support, and housing assistance. Led by medical director Dr. Mark Ujjainwalla and CEO Donna Sarrazin, the clinic operates on a low-barrier, harm-reduction model to support individuals in their recovery journey through a multidisciplinary approach involving physicians, nurses, and counsellors.
